Roth provides guided online bike fitting for supported riders and bikes. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Stop riding for worsening symptoms or reduced control, and contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns.
Do not use Roth to decide whether an injury is safe to ride with, to interpret a medical condition, or to continue riding through a worsening signal.
02STOP SIGNALS
Worsening symptoms or loss of control means stop.
Roth is designed to stop when the answer is uncertain. A stop result keeps your current information and points you toward the right kind of help without trying to diagnose you.
Worsening pain, numbness, weakness, or another warning sign
Loss of bike control, dizziness, or inability to complete the check
Two recordings that do not agree or video that is not clear enough
A suggested change that cannot be made safely on the bike
Anything outside the supported riders, bikes, or adjustments
03MECHANICAL LIMITS
The component manufacturer sets the hard limits.
Every bike part has a safe range and a required tightening force. A suggestion cannot override the minimum-insertion line on a seatpost, clamp or saddle-rail markings, instructions for carbon parts, the manufacturer’s bolt-tightening number, or any other stated limit.
Record the starting measurement and setup photo
Use the correct tools and current manufacturer instructions
Do not improvise beyond marked ranges or component limits
Choose a mechanic or fitter whenever the change is uncertain
04VIDEO LIMITS
Video can be rejected—and that is useful.
A flat phone video cannot show every cause, movement, or bike detail. Roth stops when the full rider is not in view, the camera moves, important areas are hidden, the picture is unclear, or the two side recordings do not agree.
No claim that a flat phone video can show depth
No shoe-cleat changes or medical diagnosis in the first version
No single score that is supposed to fit everyone
No guidance after a rider, safety, video-quality, or comparison check fails
05NEXT HELP
Know which professional to contact.
A qualified bike fitter can assess complex position and equipment questions in person. A mechanic should handle uncertain or unsupported component work. A qualified healthcare professional is the right next step for health concerns, diagnosis, treatment, or worsening symptoms.
Free for riders
Start with a readiness check before you record.
The check asks only about the basic bike and room setup. It does not collect symptoms or provide an adjustment.
